This full-time (starts casual) Labourer role at Elbowroom is a hands-on gig for fit, reliable blokes (or sheilas) who like building big steel pallet racking and warehouse storage systems all over Brisbane. You’ll be on different sites every week, bolting up Dexion-style racking, levelling beams, running impact wrenches, and making sure everything is plum and safe. Pay is well above award – expect $32–$38/hr flat to start, with heaps of overtime and weekend work available (paid properly). Company utes for crews, all tools supplied, White Card a must. Long-term crew members end up on salary with a ute and phone. Job Title

Pallet Racking Installer / Site Labourer

Responsibilities

• Bolt up and level pallet racking on-site.
• Use impact guns, levels, tape, spanners all day.
• Load/unload trucks and containers.
• Keep sites tidy and safe.
• Fill out basic paperwork and photos.
• Work away in greater Brisbane when needed.
• Jump in the crew ute at 6 AM, home by 3–5 PM most days.

Requirements

Education

None – just common sense.

Experience

Any racking, steel fixing, or construction labouring is a bonus.

Must Have

• Current White Card.
• Manual car licence.
• Physically fit – lifting 25 kg beams all day.
• Reliable – they hate no-shows.

Nice to Have

• HR truck licence.
• EWP ticket.
• Previous racking or mezzanine experience.

Pay & Perks

• $32–$38/hr flat (well above award).
• Daily travel allowance when out of Brissy.
