Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store, ensuring all public areas are presentable and inviting for guests.

• Clean showers and restroom facilities thoroughly, restocking supplies and ensuring a hygienic environment for travelers.

• Wash, load, and unload towels for shower services, maintaining adequate inventory for guest use.

• Perform general repair and maintenance tasks around the travel center, addressing minor issues to keep the facility in good condition.

• Pick up and dispose of all trash around the travel center, maintaining a tidy exterior and interior appearance.

• Provide excellent guest service by ensuring that facilities are well maintained and any maintenance concerns are addressed promptly.

Qualifications

No formal education is required for this role, making it accessible to motivated individuals who are ready to work. Candidates should be highly motivated self starters who can work effectively as part of a team. Physical capability is essential, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for most of the day. A flexible schedule is required, with availability for nights, days, weekends, and holidays as needed. Experience in a similar position or knowledge of industrial equipment and minor repairs is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are highly valued.
