Job Overview – Auto Electrician

The Auto Electrician role offered by Al Muhandes HR Consultancy is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair wiring harnesses and connectors in various vehicle types.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicle electrical systems to reduce future breakdowns.
• Calibrate and reprogram electronic control units (ECUs) when needed.
• Assist in diagnosing issues related to hybrid and electric vehicle systems, if applicable.
• Collaborate with mechanical technicians to resolve complex vehicle issues that involve both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Provide estimates for repair time and costs when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition.
• Comply with workshop safety protocols and wear protective equipment during repairs.
• Support training of junior technicians or apprentices on electrical repair techniques.
• Report and document any recurring issues or faulty parts to supervisors or manufacturers.
• Perform on-site repairs for breakdowns when necessary, including emergency roadside assistance.

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Auto Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and manuals.
