Job Overview

We are hiring a Driver Cum Electrician for one of our clients in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving company vehicles to various job sites while assisting with electrical work. The role requires both driving skills and basic electrical knowledge, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in both fields.

The candidate must possess a valid UAE driving license for both manual and automatic vehicles. In addition to driving, the candidate should have a basic understanding of electrical systems and be able to perform minor repairs and installations as needed. Good communication skills in English are essential for effectively interacting with team members and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely arrival at job sites and follow the specified routes for efficient travel.
• Perform electrical work under the supervision of a licensed electrician, including wiring, lighting, and outlet installation.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out repairs or replacements as needed.
• Ensure all equipment and materials are organized and ready for the job at hand.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Safeguard and maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicle, both inside and outside.
• Report any accidents, mechanical issues, or damage to vehicles to the appropriate authorities or supervisors.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist the team in other tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the project.
• Keep records of the materials and tools used during each job, ensuring they are accounted for.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving company vehicles.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and ensure they are satisfied with the services provided.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Manual and Automatic Driving License (mandatory)
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience in the UAE
• Able to speak and understand English
• Familiarity with UAE roads and routes
• Physically fit and willing to perform manual tasks

Benefits

• Salary: AED 3,000 per month
