The Electrical & Plumbing Specialist at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore plays a vital role in supporting the resort’s operations and events by ensuring all electrical and plumbing systems are installed, maintained, and functioning efficiently. This position involves setting up technical systems for events, conducting regular maintenance checks, and troubleshooting any issues to ensure seamless performance. The specialist will work closely with various teams to support daily operations, comply with safety regulations, and maintain the highest standards of service in a fast-paced, world-class hospitality environment.

Job Responsibilities

As an Electrical & Plumbing Specialist, your key duties include:

• Event Support: Set up and operate electrical and plumbing systems for events, ensuring all technical requirements are met.
• System Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance of electrical and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Installation and Dismantling: Install and dismantle electrical and plumbing setups as per event specifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to coordinate technical services and ensure seamless event execution.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations during all tasks.

Job Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: GCE N Level or higher; NITEC in Electronics/Electrical or a relevant diploma.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the electrical and plumbing field, with hands-on experience in system installation and maintenance.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical calculations, water pressure systems, and safety protocols.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in loud environments, at heights, and during odd hours.
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in PC applications (Windows/Mac).
