Responsibilities of Electrical Assistant:

• Performing basic electrical tasks under the supervision of qualified electricians.
• Assisting with the testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Assisting electrician in pre-wiring, wiring and cable pulling
• Assisting with the maintenance/installations of electrical equipment
• Assisting electrician in identifying hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes,
• law, working practices and health and safety.
• General assistance to the electrician including work on installations, inspections, diagnosing faults, testing, repair and maintenance of electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
• Assisting in general electrical work and preparation as directed
• Ensure compliance to electrical codes, legislation, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate worksheets and records/documentation associated with your work.

Requirements for Job:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Training will be provided, so prior work experience is not required but would be an advantage.
• Physical fitness.
• Have a keen eye for detail to achieve a high quality of workmanship.
• Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment.
