About the Job

The Electrician position at Accor in Dubai is a vital role within their hotels, ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of electrical systems throughout the property. This position is responsible for the repair and upkeep of all electrical installations, including air conditioning units, lighting, and general electrical maintenance, as well as troubleshooting electrical faults.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Maintenance: Regularly maintain, repair, and install electrical systems, ensuring everything works efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any electrical faults in the building’s systems.
• Preventive Maintenance: Follow schedules to prevent electrical issues, carrying out inspections and servicing.
• Work on A/C Systems: Perform maintenance and repairs on air conditioning units, which are critical to the comfort of guests.
• Communication: Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with the management team for urgent repairs.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company safety standards in all tasks.

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel or commercial setting.
• Technical Certification: Required certification in electrical or technical field.
• Skills: Knowledge of electrical systems, AC units, PLC, BMS, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English, with additional languages a bonus.
• Team Player: Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
