About the Job

Marriott International is seeking an Electrician to join their team in Saudi Arabia. The role involves assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Responsibilities include inspecting and diagnosing malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components, and performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.

The position requires adherence to safety and security policies and procedures, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Test batteries in generators, emergency lighting, etc.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and current National Electric Code and local codes.
• Read and follow blueprints/schematics.
• Respond to repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, and appliances.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.

 Requirements

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License.

Skills

• Proficiency in electrical systems and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code and local codes.
