About the Job

The Electrician Technician role at Qurum Business Group (QBG) involves performing a wide range of electrical maintenance and repair tasks across commercial, residential, or industrial sites. The technician will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining electrical systems and components to ensure safe and efficient operation. This includes work on wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and other critical electrical infrastructure. The technician must follow safety regulations and technical guidelines while minimizing downtime and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program (preferred)
• Valid UAE electrician license or certification (preferred)

Experience

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and repair
• Experience in residential, commercial, or facility management settings
• Familiarity with UAE electrical codes and safety standards

Key Skills

• Installation and maintenance of electrical systems (wiring, circuit breakers, lighting, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Knowledge of safety protocols and electrical regulations
• Basic knowledge of control systems and electrical panels
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Physical fitness to work in different site conditions and heights

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical maintenance in buildings and facilities
• Inspect and repair faulty wiring, lighting systems, and electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve power issues and electrical faults
• Install new electrical systems and components as required
• Ensure all work is compliant with safety regulations and building codes
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Assist in emergency repairs and provide on-call support as needed
• Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians for site work
