In this role, selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of a government-run farm, co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers. Responsibilities of Farm Supervisor:

• Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers.
• Develop work schedules and establish procedures.
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are following.
• Maintain quality control and production records.
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
• Maintain work records and logs!
• Perform general farm duties.

Eligibility Requirements for Farm Supervisor:

• College diploma or certificate in agriculture or a related field (e.g., livestock management) is prefer.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in farm supervision or a related leadership role.
• Strong understanding of agricultural principles and practices relevant to the specific farm’s area of focus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license (may require a specific class depending on farm vehicles).
• First Aid certificate is an asset.
