The role involves performing a range of duties from assisting in incubation, processing day old chickens, floor walking, feeding chickens, reporting, and maintaining strict biosecurity, quality, welfare and safety standards to other associated tasks. Our business is currently seeking applicants for our Wagga Wagga facility to fill Permanent part time positions. Rosters are often 5 days, spread from Monday to Sunday with some overtime work available.
Skills / experience requirement:
- Reliable and hard-working attitude.
- Ability to communicate and work well in a team.
- Be fit and healthy (be able to work on your feet all day, and pass a medical including drug & alcohol screening).
- Meet Biosecurity standards (including no contact with live birds, chickens or pigs) + (follow shower in/out procedures).
- A current car license and own transportation.
- Be available to work some weekends.
- Unrestricted & unlimited working rights in Australia (Citizenship or Permanent Residency).
