Sapura Energy Australia is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Engineers to join our dynamic team in our Perth office. This exciting opportunity offers exposure to a diverse range of offshore energy projects across Australia and NZ markets. Our Perth office delivers broad spectrum of projects providing service solutions to our end clients including SURF installation and tie-ins, IMR support, well intervention services as well as subsea decommissioning. Role Overview:

As a Graduate Engineer, you will collaborate with our Engineering team on real projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience for transition into a Project Engineer role. This opportunity will provide you with a thorough understanding of project engineering within the offshore subsea energy sector, helping you build a strong foundation for your professional development in this industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the safe & efficient execution of projects in line with client requirements & expectations.
  • Assist with the development of procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and/or decommissioning engineering documentation in compliance with Client requirements & Specifications.
  • Follow purchasing & procurement processes for project related equipment including development of scopes of work, evaluation of proposals & implementation of terms of contract throughout delivery & execution.
    Participate and exposure to various stages of project delivery including attending to various workshops.
    Attend in rotation for offshore site project works, and participate in coordination and planning of daily offshore activities, including reporting and tracking progress,
    Assist with the development and compilation of final project as built and related documentation as part of support for project close out.
    Gain exposure to developing and running a project schedule and tracking of project interfaces.
    Liaise with internal services such as Quality, Health Safety and Environment (QHSE) and drafting as required to fulfil project requirements.
    Gain exposure in developing concepts and liaising with designers to produce fit for purpose fabrication aids and expedite fabrication through procurement department and be responsible for providing finished product on time.
    Qualifications & Experience:

Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field
Strong computer skills with competency in Microsoft Office package
Strong organisational and time management skills
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
We will also consider Undergraduate Engineers who are close to the end of their degree and are able to work 3 days per week.
