Responsibilities of Moving Truck Driver:

• Driving a moving truck to transport goods.
• Loading and unloading items onto and off the truck.
• Planning routes and navigating to destinations.
• Ensuring the safe and secure transport of goods.
• Providing excellent customer service to clients.
• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
• Load and unload goods
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Pay and receive payments for goods
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.

Requirements for Moving Truck Driver:

• Valid driver’s license (Class 5 or higher).
• Clean driving record.
• Previous experience in driving large vehicles preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
