Job Overview

SGS is seeking a Plumbing Inspector to join their team in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves conducting thorough inspections of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect plumbing installations and systems to verify compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Witness on-site and off-site material and installation tests for compliance.
• Record and report any non-compliance or issues to supervisors.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during inspection activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and operate with the highest standards of ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a 2-year Industrial/Technical College Diploma.
• At least 4 years of experience in plumbing inspection, or 8 years with a diploma.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable international standards (e.g., Uniform Plumbing Code, AWWA C-950, NFPA 13).
• Familiarity with quality system standards and methods.
• Awareness of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Training in inspecting plumbing systems is preferred.
• CBT pass in PID-Plumbing Inspector is preferable.
