The Role:

As a Retail Sales Assistant at Workscene, you’ll play a crucial role in our store’s daily operations, from assisting customers with their purchases to maintaining the store’s presentation. Your role will be dynamic, offering you the chance to demonstrate your problem-solving skills, engage with a diverse range of customers, and contribute to the store meeting its sales targets.

This is a full-time position, requiring availability 4 days a week and 1 weekend day. Shifts allocated to Blacktown/Castle Hill and Penrith stores.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist and guide customers to ensure they find exactly what they need.
  • Support store operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store cleanliness.
  • Engage with customers to build lasting relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Participate in the store’s daily opening and closing procedures.
  • Manage transactions, handle calls, and respond to inquiries with professionalism.
  • Contribute to a team effort by achieving sales goals.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A passion for retail and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and presentation.
  • Ability to problem-solve and keep the store functioning smoothly.
  • Familiarity with POS systems; ERP system knowledge is a plus.
  • Motivation to learn and grow within the company.
