Rope Access Welder Job In Singapore

National Oilwell Varco PTE. LTD is seeking for rope access welder to join their team in Pioneer road in Singapore. The ideal candidate must have ability to using hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welder and gas torches. This is fresh level full-tiem role. For this position salary range from $3000-$4000 per month.

Qualifications for Rope Access Welder:

• Candidate must have experience in high-temperature work in shipyards.
• Ceritified in welding and heat cutting through welder machine.
• Ability to perform welds in all six welding positions including flat, horizontal,vertical, overhead, inclined and flat vertical.
• Certified in rope access techniques.

Responsibilities for Rope Access Welder:

• Candidate must have ability to use hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to assemble and repair equipment and structures.
• May also use welding equipment to perform metal cutting/trimming work or fabricate simple fixtures.
• These projects will range in scope and will involve structural modification, welding work or derrick building including removal and installation of top drives, crown blocks etc.
• Maintain and update welding log and certificate.
• Ability to maintain the daily reporting, and day to day forms, permits as may be required for the project in hand.
• Responsible for the wellbeing and safe operating practices of personnel working under his supervision.
