MAN, Energy Solutions is searching for a skilled sales manager for retrofit and upgrade projects in Japan. As a vital part of MAN Energy Solutions team, selected candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling retrofit and upgrade solutions to our clients. Your role involves building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored retrofit options. Responsibilities of Sales Manager:

  • sales responsibility for Japan
  • answer and clarify technical questions from customers related to Retrofit.
  • create quotation based on customer inquiries.
  • prepare and conduct customer visits and promote retrofits and upgrades.
  • quotation follow up for status on open quotation and sales.
  • participation in exhibitions and seminars
  • report sales status to the Regional Sales Manager for IGC in Product Center, Denmark.

Eligibility Criteria for Sales Manager:

  • We are looking for a person with extensive sales experience, preferably from within the marine industry combined with a strong technical background. The candidate could be Marine engineer, mechanical engineer or similar.
  • You are proactive, self-driven and have a structured and quality-oriented approach to your assignments. You are result-oriented, possess excellent networking skills and have the ability to interface at all levels in a dynamic environment. Furthermore, you have good English skills both orally and in writing.
  • Experience in the Japanese business environment and/or Japanese language skills as a strong plus.
