Senior Finance Manager Job in Hong Kong

We are assisting a listed manufacturing company in hiring a Senior Finance Manager to join their team. The position will report directly to the CFO and lead a small team responsible for all-round finance functions.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute long-term financial strategies, goals, and objectives for the Group’s companies.
• Ensure a robust financial and accounting system to provide timely and accurate financial information, treasury matters, tax planning, and cost analysis.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise team members in preparing closing reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of financial and operational flows, and drive the implementation of effective procedures, controls, and systems.
• Provide strategic input to the Chief Financial Officer to drive business growth.
• Monitor and rectify financial performance and risks.
• Manage fund handling to ensure liquidity.
• Participate in ad hoc assignments and projects.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance/Accounting with a professional accountancy qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in an international accounting firm and 5 years in a listed company.
• Experience working with PRC companies is a plus.
• Familiarity with HK Listing Rules.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, report writing, and PC skills.
• Knowledge of SAP systems is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented, problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to PRC (~30%)
