Overview
Synaptics is seeking an accomplished and adept Technical Marketing Manager with a strong foundation in AI and expertise in embedded processing to bring Synaptics AI technology to the next wave of electronic device designs. Youll also get hands-on in creating software examples for embedded AI devices in established and emerging application spaces. This role will drive market adoption and revenue growth for IoT Processor products. This position reports to the Director, Technical Product Marketing .
Responsibilities & Competencies
Job Duties
- Hands-on development in edge AI application layer to create reference solutions that address customer needs and broad market opportunities
- Guide customers with workshops, demos, and hands-on technical support
- Contribute to go-to-market plans with Product Management and Engineering
- Gather feedback to influence product roadmaps and highlight market opportunities
- Produce technical collateral (white papers, briefs, demos) that showcases product value and represent the company at conferences, and events
- Drive alignment across Engineering, Sales, and Marketing for successful product launches
- Evaluate competing technologies and provide strategic recommendations
- Conduct in-depth performance and feature comparisons in resource-constrained environments
- Cultivate relationships with integration partners, developers, and industry influencers
- Address technical challenges through tutorials, sample apps, and community engagement

Qualifications
- Bachelors (or advanced) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent
- 8+ years of industry experience, in technical marketing, applications engineering, solutions engineering, or similar roles
- Proven track record of delivering customer solutions and integrations addressing both technical and business requirements
- Highly proficient in C/C++, Python, and Linux-based development
- Experience creating reference architectures adaptable to multiple verticals
- Hands-on experience with customer or applications engineering
- Documented contribution to open-source projects in AI/ML, Embedded
- Systems, Robotics or IoT connectivity or examples of public technical presentations, papers or blogs is desirable
- Prior experience building developer ecosystems and managing partner relationships preferred
- Familiarity with embedded processors, edge AI, or IoT devices a plus
International travel up to 20% required
