As a welder, selected candidate will carry out welding on machined parts to a high degree of quality. You’ll be able to work under your own initiative to meet the production schedule of the plant. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills whilst working on some innovative products.
Responsibilities of Welder:
- Performing welding applications within one or more work teams.
Able to read and understand Engineering drawings, Process charts, check sheets and work-related documents. - Welding using MIG machine, set up welding parameters based on engineering drawings or welding specifications, marking and measuring the work piece using appropriate special gauges and measuring instruments.
- Operating within standard operating procedure and adhering to safety practices.
- Performing visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications.
- Help facilitate the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems that enhance through-put within the work team.
- Reading and understanding WPS.
- Supporting the team and team’s objectives.
Eligibility Criteria for Welder:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experiences in Welding (TIG & MIG).
- Successful completion of welding tests and qualifications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of welding processes.
