Position Summary

MTY Food Group is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (Burger Brands) to support franchisees and optimize performance across its growing portfolio of quick-service burger restaurants. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong franchise relationships, driving operational excellence, and contributing to the ongoing growth and innovation of MTY’s burger concepts.

This hybrid role involves field visits, remote collaboration, and cross-functional coordination to support franchisees in achieving their sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for a group of franchise partners within burger brands

Provide coaching, tools, and resources to support franchisees in achieving operational targets

Monitor and analyze store performance, identifying opportunities for improvement

Develop action plans in collaboration with franchisees to boost profitability and customer satisfaction

Ensure brand standards are consistently met across all locations

Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, training, finance, and operations) to align strategies

Track key performance metrics and generate reports for leadership

Contribute to market and competitor analysis for strategic planning

Support new restaurant openings and onboarding of franchisees

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field

3–5 years of experience in business development, franchise operations, or multi-unit restaurant management (preferably in QSR or burger brands)

Proven track record of achieving sales and operational goals

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills

Ability to analyze financial and operational reports

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, franchise-driven environment

Willingness to travel within assigned regions

Bilingual (English/French) preferred, but not required
