About the Job

The Midfield Group is seeking a qualified A Grade Electrician to join their team at their Warrnambool processing facility. This full-time position involves performing electrical maintenance, fault finding, equipment installation, and repairs across a range of industrial machinery. The role plays a vital part in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of the plant’s production systems. The successful candidate will work in a structured shift environment, with flexible options including 12-hour rotating rosters or 8-hour fixed weekday shifts.

Requirements

• Qualifications: Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent industry qualification.
• Experience: Strong background in electrical maintenance, particularly in industrial settings.
• Skills: Proficiency in fault finding, machine installation, and equipment maintenance.
• Attributes: Self-motivated, problem-solving mindset, punctual, reliable, and a team player.
• Additional: Basic computer literacy, right to work in Australia, and willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical.
• Health: Q Fever vaccination or willingness to participate in the vaccination process.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical service and maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Identify and rectify faults in both electrical and mechanical machinery.
• Install new machines and complete electrical systems.
• Repair and maintain all types of electrical equipment.
