About the Job

This role involves performing electrical repairs and diagnostics on heavy equipment used in the mining industry. You’ll work on machines like CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Liebherr.

Requirements

• Australian-recognized Trade Certification Automotive Electrical Technology
• Experience with surface mining equipment
• Valid C Class Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a Coal Board Medical
• Standard 11induction (preferred but not essential)

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Solid understanding of electrical systems in heavy vehicles
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety and quality work

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance and diagnostics on mining equipment
• Inspect and repair wiring, circuit boards, lighting systems
• Ensure machinery operates to safety and performance standards
• Complete service reports and documentation
• Support and collaborate with other trades and technicians
