About the Job

SMG is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join their team in Riyadh. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the company’s manufacturing facilities. Candidates should have experience in the marble and granite industry, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in the marble and granite industry.
• Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics
• Working with industrial control panels
• Preventive and predictive maintenance
• Use of electrical testing tools (millimeter, clamp meter, etc.)
• Cable termination and conduit installation
• Understanding of variable frequency drives (VFDs)
• Familiarity with SCADA and automation systems
• Compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures
• Arc flash and electrical hazard awareness
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and precision in work
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Time management and ability to work under pressure
• Documentation and reporting of maintenance activities
• Flexibility to work in shifts or overtime when required
