About the Plumber Role

The Plumber role at Borg’s Crossmuller division in Mount Gambier, South Australia, is a full-time, permanent position focused on the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures across a variety of construction sites. As part of a dynamic and growing team, you will work on both commercial and industrial projects, liaising closely with builders, foremen, and project managers to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Relevant trade qualification
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Current WHS white card
• Extensive plumbing experience
• Ability to liaise with builders, foremen, and project managers during contract works
• Poly welding (both Butt and fusion) experience is advantageous
• Excavator experience preferred
• Commercial/industrial experience
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Willingness to train apprentices to ensure they become skilled trades people

Skills

• Proficient in installing, repairing, and maintaining various plumbing systems.
• Ability to liaise effectively with builders, foremen, and project managers.
• Experience in poly welding (both Butt and fusion) and operating excavators.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently.
• Willingness to train apprentices and contribute to their development.
