Position Summary

The Transportation & Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics operations and customer transportation strategies. This includes designing customized logistics solutions, managing day-to-day execution, maintaining service excellence, and driving account profitability. The role involves collaboration with internal teams and customers to ensure seamless delivery and long-term client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate logistics and transportation activities across assigned accounts

Develop and implement customized logistics solutions based on customer needs

Establish and maintain strong relationships with client decision-makers

Monitor and evaluate service performance to ensure compliance with contract terms

Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive advantage

Collaborate with internal operations teams to align resources with customer expectations

Manage service contracts, pricing agreements, and key account documentation

Negotiate service terms and performance-based agreements

Identify growth opportunities within existing customer accounts and support new business development

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

5–7 years of experience in logistics operations, transportation management, or business development (experience in the bulk liquid industry is a strong advantage)

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage customer relationships

Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations

Willingness to travel up to 20–50% based on business needs
