ING is seeking a passionate intern to join its Corporate Finance team in Hong Kong. This six month full time internship starts in June or July 2026. You will focus on mergers and acquisitions advisory activities across greater China. Main business lines include inbound and outbound M&A advisory, Independent Financial Advisory, and monitoring trustee business. You will work closely with ING Corporate Finance teams in Singapore, Manila, London, New York, and Amsterdam. If you are majoring in STEM, Business, Accounting, Economics, Management, Finance, Law, or a related field, this role suits you. You need a minimum GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0 or 3.5 out of 4.3. No working visa is required.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in sector research to identify potential buyers and sellers for transactions
Undertake industry research and detailed analyses
Develop financial models for valuation and financial analysis
Perform valuation work using standard methodologies
Prepare documents for client meetings and transaction processes
Conduct oral and written translation work between English and Chinese
Coordinate projects with other professional parties such as legal and accounting firms
Support the team in managing multiple deal processes simultaneously
Qualifications
Major in STEM, Business, Accounting, Economics, Management, Finance, Law, or a related field
No working visa required for Hong Kong
Minimum GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0 or 3.5 out of 4.3
Strong interest in corporate finance, valuation, and business strategy
Demonstrated interest through extracurricular activities, case competitions, academic courses, or other relevant work
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle pressure
Ability to meet tight deadlines consistently
Self motivated, confident, and proactive
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
