About the Job

We are currently seeking experienced Welders to join our structural steel fabrication team. The role involves fabricating and welding steel components, including beams, columns, trusses, and frames, according to engineering specifications and drawings. Projects range from high-rise buildings to custom industrial structures.

• This is a full-time position with consistent hours, and opportunities for overtime and project bonuses.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2–3 years of welding/fabrication experience(preferably in structural steel)
• Valid welding certifications (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick)
• Ability to interpret and work from technical/engineering drawings
• Experience with overhead cranes and steel fabrication equipment is highly desirable

Skills and Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Stick welding on mild steel and structural components
• Cut, grind, fit, and assemble steel parts as per project specs
• Operate fabrication tools (grinders, cutting torches, drills, etc.)
• Ensure all welds meet Australian Standards (AS/NZS 1554)
• Inspect completed welds for strength and appearance
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work as part of a team to meet production timelines
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and site managers
